I have been a therapist for over 15 years, working with individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use issues, and other mental health concerns. I have been a therapist for over 15 years, working with individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use issues, and other mental health concerns. I offer support to people related to LGBTQ+ issues, relationship challenges, and other life issues that cause people to feel stuck. I practiced as an outpatient therapist at a group practice before moving into private practice. Before that, I offered individual and group counseling in outpatient and intensive outpatient (IOP) substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment and in a college counseling center. I strive to meet each client where they are and offer the skill I've gained from my experiences along with compassion, understanding, and humor to their process of change and healing.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS).
I identify as a gay person and use "he/him/his" pronouns. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my partner, listening to music, exercise, watching too much TV, reading, and relaxing at the beach. I have recently returned to a childhood hobby of playing piano.
